The housing development will bring 152 units, providing affordable housing options to families. Units range in size from studios to five-bedroom apartments and have the unique opportunity to serve multigenerational households. Twenty-five percent of the units are set aside for residents from the Sunnydale public housing development.

Size: 691 China Basin Street, was completed December of 2020, with a total projected project cost of roughly $115 million, including all hard and soft costs

The project proposal includes the development of a housing community offering affordable residences and onsite services. Mercy Housing is the project developer. The 152 apartments, over 70 percent of which will have at least two bedrooms, will be made available to households making up to 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Bay City Mechanical’s project scope will be to generate and provide 3D Models of the HVAC Systems including; duct work, piping, and all equipment installed in the HVAC Scope of work. This includes all fans, AHU’s, pumps, tanks, valves, controls, control wiring heat exchangers, smoke & fire dampers, insulation on piping & ductwork, pads required for equipment, hangers & seismic bracing, diffusers, registers, louvers, grilles and high & low point drains.
